Beans Aloo — homemade Indian dish from The Curry Creations, New Jersey

What is Beans Aloo?

Beans aloo is fresh green beans and potatoes cooked together with cumin, turmeric and a light spice blend. It's an everyday sabzi rooted in North Indian home cooking: clean, wholesome and comforting rather than rich.

It's one of the most-ordered vegetable dishes at The Curry Creations, often picked as a lighter partner to a dal or curry.

Cooked in 100% olive oil

Never vegetable oil or palm oil. No preservatives, no artificial colours.

Best served with

Warm roti, available as a side with your weekly order, or with dal and rice.

Allergens

No added nuts or sesame. Our kitchen also handles nuts, sesame and dairy, so please message us about any allergy before ordering.

Keeps up to 5 days in the fridge or up to 5 weeks frozen on the day of delivery. Containers are not microwave-safe — heat in a pan or on a plate.

How we cook our Beans Aloo

We cook fresh green beans and potatoes with cumin, turmeric and spices until tender.
