Palak Methi Paneer — homemade Indian dish from The Curry Creations, New Jersey

What is Palak Methi Paneer?

Palak methi paneer brings together two of North India's favourite greens, spinach (palak) and fenugreek (methi), in a smooth, mildly spiced gravy with soft cubes of paneer. The spinach gives body and colour, and the methi adds a gentle, savoury bitterness that makes it taste different from a plain palak paneer.

It's a vibrant, nutrient-rich vegetarian dish and one of the most-ordered paneer dishes at The Curry Creations.

Cooked in 100% olive oil

Never vegetable oil or palm oil. No preservatives, no artificial colours.

Best served with

Warm roti or steamed basmati rice, both available as sides with your weekly order. A dal on the side makes it a fuller meal.

Allergens

No added nuts or sesame. Our kitchen also handles nuts, sesame and dairy, so please message us about any allergy before ordering.

Storage & heating

Keeps up to 5 days in the fridge or up to 5 weeks frozen on the day of delivery. Containers are not microwave-safe — heat in a pan or on a plate.

How we cook our Palak Methi Paneer

We cook the spinach and fenugreek down with onions, tomatoes and spices into a smooth gravy, then add soft paneer cubes.

Like every dish from our kitchen, it's cooked in 100% olive oil with no preservatives, packed hot into a 16 oz biodegradable container, and delivered the same weekend it's cooked.

Palak Methi Paneer — FAQs

What is the difference between palak paneer and palak methi paneer? +
Both have paneer in a spinach gravy. Palak methi paneer also adds fresh fenugreek leaves, which give a slightly bitter, more savoury flavour.
Is it vegetarian? +
Yes. It's vegetarian. It contains paneer (cheese), so it isn't vegan.
How long does it keep, and how do I reheat it? +
It keeps up to 5 days in the fridge, or up to 5 weeks if you freeze it on the day of delivery. Our containers aren't microwave-safe, so heat it in a pan or on a plate until piping hot.
